What this is

codedclips.com turns a short written brief into an animated clip. You describe what you want; a language model drafts a scene; the scene is drawn or recorded; you get a clip back. There is no subscription — you buy credit in advance and spend it on generation and storage. One vector animation is free on a browser. Saving it to an email uses that email’s free animation. Further generations use prepaid credit at the price shown first.

Your account

You can create a free account by verifying your email with a sign-in link. A session cookie keeps you signed in, and your account connects your balance and saved creations across devices. Clearing browser data signs you out; it does not delete the account. Sign in again with the same email. For an earlier purchase, use the email associated with that purchase.

Keep access to that inbox secure. Sign-in links work once and expire after 15 minutes. Do not share sign-in links, session credentials or API keys: they can authorize access to your account and spending. Contact support@codedclips.com if you lose access.

Price and payment

Credit is sold in packs, in US dollars, and paid for through Stripe. Nothing is charged to your payment card automatically and there is no renewal. Storage fees are deducted from your prepaid balance as described below. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout page and are never seen by or stored on this site.

A clip is not a flat price. Before a clip runs, the price is calculated and shown to you, and you confirm it; the confirmation is bound to the prompt, the model and the price, so a stale or altered confirmation is refused. A successful generation is charged at the confirmed price, even if its actual production cost is lower. Storage is billed separately.

Storage and the seven-day grace period

Saved videos, scene code and vector documents use prepaid credit for storage. From 30 September 2026, the rate is $1.00 per GB per month, accrued daily with fractional cents carried forward. Earlier days retain their original 15¢ per GB monthly rate. Storage charges never take the balance below zero.

When your balance no longer covers accrued storage and the next day’s reserve, your account shows a deletion deadline seven days later. During that grace period you can still view and download your creations. Add enough credit before the deadline to cover storage and cancel deletion. Otherwise, stored videos, scenes and vector documents are permanently removed by the maintenance service on or after the deadline. Creation and payment history remain. Download anything you want to keep independently of this service.

Credit does not expire while this service operates.

What you get, and what you keep

You keep whatever rights you have in the briefs you write and in the clips you generate. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to train anything. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to send your brief to our model provider, to render the clip, to store your creations for your library, and to serve a clip to anyone you send its share link to. AI providers also process your request under the model-specific retention policies explained in our Privacy page.

A clip link is a capability, not a secret we control. Anyone you send it to can watch the clip, and if it is forwarded, so can anyone else. Do not generate anything you would not be willing to have forwarded.

Acceptable use

Do not use this service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, that harasses or threatens a person, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not attempt to use it to attack or overload the service, or to reach the model provider through it for anything other than drafting a clip. We may suspend an account and refuse further service if this is abused; where credit has not been spent, it will be returned.

Availability

No uptime is promised. The service depends on a model provider, a hosting platform and a database, any of which can fail, and the drafting lane can be rate-limited or paused when it is busy. A clip that fails is refunded in full and automatically — see Refunds.

Ages

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, and if you are a consumer you keep every right your local law gives you that these terms cannot waive.

Changes

These terms may change. A material change will be posted on this page with a new date at the top, and the version in force when you bought credit is the one that governs that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the State of California, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law where you live.

Copyright

You keep the rights you have in what you generate, and you are responsible for having the right to the brief you submit. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, write to support@codedclips.com with the link and enough detail to identify the work; we will remove it while we look.
